Can Hylo Athletics crack the conundrum of building a zero-waste running shoe that doesn't sacrifice performance? Michael Doughty, an ex-pro soccer player, believes he's building that bright future.
Basically how a virtual run works from end to end. Gonna be putting on a virtual 10k next year instead of the usual in-person event. Turns out it’s way cheaper to host (shocker) but the amount of work involved will entirely depend on how much we can automate (again, shocker).
I'm rooting for Hylo Athletics! It's a tough nut to crack: getting zero-waste right, getting the right price-point and getting a running shoe that compares to our favorite running shoes...
I'm Running a marathon.
don't know if you know, do you?
training going well
I've been monitoring your progress, mate! Looking good
Did a 5k run
It was a research project
I get a medal!
What did you find out?

Same. Beautiful shoes as well. I think they're in a great position
I’m all for zero waste but I want to try these shoes, they surely have to be at least as good as my brooks to be worth it.
Haiku:
Too hot to run far, Treadmill instead of the car—
I’m off to the bar.
Demanding! These would look better in the bar than your Brooks imho
I should've put a line in about 60% of consumers being willing to pay at least 5% more for a sustainable product but who cares haha
Hah! I would pay 10% more for a sustainable product but it has to be no compromise on my precious feet!
