Community means people you can rely on. Specifically to running, I have a Thursday morning crew of 3-6 guys that always meet and get 4-5 miles in and then spend time drinking coffee and catching up. It’s a ritual I love because it’s a built-in tempo run, and gives me something to look forward to near the end of the week.
"It took but a second to realize that there wasn’t a single product I couldn’t do without on a long run. It was the people." — This is the whole thing in two sentences. People just give back, we reciprocate. Do you think the sport holds onto that as it grows?

Who cares about the sport. The people will always hold onto that.
I hope so. I think you and I have had very different experiences with run clubs. Maybe that’s the difference
