Joel Pearson has been running 3 miles or 25 minutes every single day for almost three decades. 1) He’s not yet 40 years old and 2) he's not got the longest streak in his family.
"...I don't consider myself a runner. I don't consider myself someone who brushes their teeth either." As a streaker myself (though only ~6 years with my daily streak), I appreciate this sentiment. I'd also add that 100% is far easier to sustain over the long term than something less — no decisions about whether you're running today (although you still have to decide where, and when, and how far...).
