I speak to Mikkeller Running Club founder, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø about how the world's best craft beer brewery has also built the world's biggest global community of runners
I really enjoyed reading this one Raziq! Thank you and it had me thinking about starting a club here! LOL...then I remembered I don't drink beer so not sure they would want me. :) Like minded in the running though. I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder discomfort, hope it's on the mend.
thanks. you achieved two things with this posting.
- I checked out the website and I'm thinking about starting a chapter in Hamburg.
- I'm thirsty and want a beer. A Mikkeler, of course.
Btw, back in the days before the pandemic, when I was still flying around a lot, I always made sure to get the special Mikkeler for SAS craft beer that they only served in business class. Supposedly it was brewed for consumption at high altitude.

Thank you, Julie! I think I just started a 'morning run then coffee' club here, so there are options haha
WOW! I love this idea Raziq! I would totally join your club. Hmm....you got me thinking. This is right up my alley. Thank you. :)
I hope you got some free beer out of this post. Or at least a t-shirt. Even if that's not why you do all this of course... right??
😉
More like planning a trip to Copenhagen more seriously than I was last week. I write myself into corners. Nice corners, but corners nonetheless.
samesies. writing corners can be the worst, until you just start to enjoy the alone time
I’ve been to one of the Mikkeller bars in Copenhagen (so good) and had no idea they had a run club!
I *almost* made a little pilgrimage this summer. I remember the barbecue at the Warpigs location being so delicious

Ah, great. British Airways has a Brewdog equivalent. We live in pleasant times haha.
And MRC Hamburg needs to happen! Go forth, Captain.
Beer and running - what’s not to love!
I think a lot of sober ppl unsubscribed from my newsletter this week so...
😂 You can please some of the people, some of the time...
