Influencers get a bad rap for "stealing" marathon bibs and generally being an internet irritant, but how about if I told you that *you* are an influencer?
RE: the NYT Hunter S. Thompson article, I found it to be sorta clickbaity and inconclusive. The biggest revelation, imo, was that the investigation was still pending three months later. The Colorado Sun article when the news that they were reopening it was a little more clean on the “why” back in October. Hunter was a lion, but he was in pretty rough physical shape in those final years, so I personally believe he checked himself out, but seems like there wouldn’t be a review if there weren’t some lingering questions? Guess we will see.

Agree on all that. Nobody's looking for justice are they? Seems unlikely they'll uncover anything conclusive after 20 years anyway.
The only thing that would truly interest *me* is if he was still alive, Elvis-/Yeti-style. And writing.
